What your day would look like

At Zaptec, we’re accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility by building smart, scalable EV charging solutions trusted across Europe. As we continue to grow, we’re now ready to take the next step in Finland.

This is a key role where you’ll help shape our presence in the Finnish market from the ground up - building partnerships, opening doors, and making sure Zaptec’s solutions are understood, trusted, and chosen in real projects. You’ll work closely with our Country Manager Finland and the wider Zaptec organisation, while owning the day-to-day commercial development locally.

Your days will be varied, hands-on and outward-facing with a strong mix of relationship building, market development and technical-commercial work.

  • Own business development in Finland, identifying and winning new opportunities together with installers, distributors and key partners.

  • Build and enable a strong partner ecosystem through onboarding, trainings, joint visits and ongoing follow-up.

  • Act as a technical-commercial advisor in key projects, supporting tenders and helping partners specify Zaptec’s solutions.

  • Develop the Finnish market through strong relationships, market insight and a well-built local network.

  • Manage pipeline, forecasting and CRM, and share insights with Sales, Product and Marketing.

  • Collaborate closely with the Country Manager Finland and cross-functional teams across Zaptec.

  • Spend time in the field with partners and customers, turning opportunities into long-term growth.

Is this you?

You’re motivated by building something that matters and enjoy the responsibility that comes with owning a market. You’re comfortable working hands-on and independently, while knowing when to pull in the right people around you. You bring a solid background in B2B business development or sales, ideally from growing a new market or segment, and you’re experienced in partner- or channel-driven sales models. You’re commercially minded, understand how to create win-win partnerships, and have the ability to grasp technical solutions and communicate their value clearly.

As for the skills required for this job

  • Around 7+ years of relevant B2B sales or business development experience.

  • At least a few years in a technical or solution-oriented sales role.

  • Good understanding of how to work in a scale-up or growth environment.

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business with strong technical interest, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Fluency in Finnish and strong business-level English.

It’s a bonus if you:

  • Have experience working closely with distributors, installers or system integrators.

  • Bring strong technical understanding from EV charging, energy, mobility or related sectors.

  • Speak Swedish and/or have an established network in Finland.
