What your day would look like
At Zaptec, we’re on a mission to make EV charging smarter and more accessible. As a Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding our footprint across the UK’s electrical wholesale market. Working closely with both national chains and independent branches, you’ll help position Zaptec as their trusted go-to EV charging brand.
Your day will revolve around building strong, long-term relationships with branch managers, sales staff, and installer customers. You’ll be on the ground – visiting branches, delivering product training, offering commercial support, and bringing energy to demo days and trade events. You’ll be their first point of contact, guiding them with insight and enthusiasm through every step of the customer journey.
Whether you're introducing Zaptec to a new branch, supporting long-term partners, or aligning with internal teams, you’ll be at the heart of our wholesale strategy – driving both growth and lasting impact.
In this role, we believe some of your tasks will be to:
Act as the go-to contact for branch staff, providing day-to-day support.
Proactively seek new branch opportunities and introduce Zaptec to new networks.
Equip wholesale partners with the tools and knowledge they need to confidently sell Zaptec products.
Handle incoming leads and connect new installers with the right wholesale contacts.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to maximise success.
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide weekly reporting on performance, wins, and challenges.
Is this you?
To thrive as our new Sales Manager we’re looking for someone with a strong B2B sales background – ideally from the electrical wholesale, renewables, or EV infrastructure world. You’re someone who enjoys being on the move, building relationships, and enabling others to succeed.
As for the skills required for this job
Proven ability to grow accounts and develop long-term partnerships.
Strong product and technical knowledge, with confidence in EV charging solutions.
A natural communicator in both one-on-one and group settings.
Organised, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Driven by relationships and commercial impact, always seeking to deliver value beyond the initial sale.
Experience using CRM tools and tracking performance.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
