The market for electric cars is growing rapidly and with that comes an increase in the need for smart-charging solutions. Zaptec is a Norwegian world-leading company in this type of solution, and with its in-house developed products has taken solid market shares both in Norway and abroad. The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker ZAP.

In connection with the company’s growth and development, the complexity of the company has also increased, and the finance function is facing an exciting development to ensure that the management model, processes, and reporting reflect the rest of the organization. To meet the increased complexity, we are now looking for a new employee who will play a central role in the company’s journey forward and be involved in large parts of the finance function.

As our new Group Controller, you will become a central part of the finance team in Norway, currently only consisting of 4 employees 👀 

Zaptec is looking for a proactive personality with an eye for detail and the ability to execute, but also someone who can see the bigger picture and prioritize accordingly. We offer a central role in a very exciting journey, with high potential for the development of both role and function!

In this role, we believe some of your tasks will be:

• Responsibility for external quarterly and annual reporting for the group under IFRS
• Tax analysis and consolidation work
• Annual accounts for parent and operating company in Norway
• Auditor's contact person
• General improvement work and routine development
• Other tasks within the finance team

To thrive as our new Group Controller, we believe you have a good overall understanding of the finance function in a larger company, and have a relevant background or competency. Further, we think you are motivated by improvements, are result-oriented, and  are concerned with progress.

Some personal skills we value

• Self-driven and independent
• Skilled relationship builder who is able to get the organization/other employees on board 
• An eye for detail and always strive to deliver high quality on time
  
• Thrives in an active and informal environment 
• Ambitious and willing to give that little extra! 

• Minimum 5 years experience in auditing, controlling, accounting, or a similar role. 
• Strong system competence and skills in Excel
• Experience with annual settlement programs, consolidation systems, and analysis tools 
• Experience with company reporting under IFRS will be an advantage 
• Good oral and written skills, both in Norwegian and English
