Within Mechanical Development, you will join us during an exciting time as we are growing both in Norway as well as internationally. As our production volume grows and new markets require new specifications, we see ourselves in need of more engineers to continue enhancing the production of our products 🙌

In this innovative environment, you will work with people who share a passion for agility and, of course, electric mobility, power grid infrastructure, and renewable energy. Moreover, you are expected to help the company develop new solutions for new and existing products. You will be part of the Mechanical Development Department and will work closely with other departments inside the company as well as outsourced resources.

As for the skills required for this job

• Proficiency in using CAD Systems such as SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, etc.
• Familiarity with injection moulding.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and mechanisms.
• Proficiency in creating prototypes, conducting tests, and analyzing data to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
• Familiarity with different materials, their properties, and suitability for specific applications.
• Ability to generate and inspect comprehensive technical documents, including design specifications, engineering reports, and assembly instructions.

Good to have:

• Experience in performing FEA simulations to evaluate structural integrity, thermal performance, and other critical aspects of mechanical designs.
