What your day might include

• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of software developers.

• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development sessions.

• Define, maintain, and continuously improve software development processes.

• Drive internal cross-team technical initiatives together with leaders across embedded, hardware, and mechanical disciplines.

• Take an active role in the cross-disciplinary leadership group and contribute to Zaptec’s technical strategy.

As for the skills required for this job

• BCs or MCs degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.

• Hands-on experience in software development, combined with proven leadership or management experience.

• Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies and best practices.

• Skilled communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational abilities.

• Experience with budgeting, resource planning, or capacity management is a plus.
