What your day would look like

At Zaptec, we’re building smart charging solutions that help accelerate the transition to electric mobility. To support our growing presence in Benelux, we’re now looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Amsterdam.

In this role, you’ll be an important point of contact for our installers, partners and customers across the region. Your days will be varied and hands-on. One moment you might be helping an installer troubleshoot a technical question, the next you could be delivering a training session or supporting a partner in getting the most out of Zaptec’s charging solutions.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across Customer Support & Success, making sure our partners and customers feel supported, confident and well taken care of. Whether you’re answering technical questions via phone or email, guiding installers through solutions, or building strong relationships with partners, your work will play a key role in delivering a great experience.

No two days are the same, but the goal is always clear: helping our partners succeed and making it easy to work with Zaptec.

Is this you?

You’re someone who naturally puts the customer first and enjoys building trust through clear and helpful communication. Solving technical challenges motivates you, and you find satisfaction in helping others move forward.

You’re curious about technology, energy and digital solutions, and you enjoy learning how things work. You like being in a role where you can combine technical understanding with customer dialogue, and you’re comfortable switching between troubleshooting, training and relationship building.

You communicate easily in both Dutch and English, and you enjoy being part of a collaborative team environment in our Amsterdam office.

As for the skills required for this job

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a technical support or similar role.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English. French is a bonus.

  • Familiarity with OCPP and API management is an advantage.

  • Experience within the energy or EV sector is considered a bonus.
